Kevin "Hurricane" Hudson
Director of Fitness & Kickboxing Education
Kevin began training in martial arts at the age of eight. In 1992, he took over managing the academy that he grew up in with only two students. In 1994, he won the K.I.C.K. World Cruiserweight Kickboxing championship with a 12 round victory over Neil Singleton. He continued to compete regularly, winning other titles under different organizations, including the I.K.F. United States Heavy Weight title in 2002. During his travels and training, he began working under Mr. Joe Lewis and has since earned his 6th degree black belt under Mr. Lewis. As a long time business owner and graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate with a degree in Business Management.
Currently, Kevin serves as a special project manager and the gym supplies store manager at 9Round. He hopes to continue providing superior service to the 9Round franchisees as the brand continues its quest for world domination.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys kickboxing, general martial arts, and spending time with his wife and two children. Kevin has written one book, entitled You Can Hit the Mark, and hopes to write another as well. He also has his private pilot license and loves to bore holes in the sky.
